The walking and biking routes were developed to aid in improving local fitness for residents and visitors, promote tourism and raise awareness of the local treasures we have in and around Cumberland, Wisconsin. Our group has worked hard to collect walking and biking trails in the area and plan to continue to improve and promote our local resources.

Race Course:

The run/walk will start at on the railroad right of way at 900 Sylvan St. Cumberland WI. The route proceeds north on the railroad right of way, across Hwy B (with the help of Cumberland Fire Department), onto the ATV trail to the east then into some of the beautiful, wooded loops in Scoutland and then back to the starting line for your grand finish!! The walkers can turn around at Hwy B for their 2.5K.

Cool down area: On the railroad right of way between Sylvan and Nedvidek to the lake shore.

Parking:

Behind United Team Elite (across hwy 63 from Louie’s Finer Meats). Secondary parking for overflow if needed will be in Louie’s upper north lot and grassy lot to the north. Do not park on Hwy 63 or Sylvan street.

8:45 Announcements

8:50 Line-up for race on the railroad right of way between Nedvidek and Sylvan streets. Line up in the following order runnners up front, joggers, walkers, walkers with strollers then walkers w/dogs on <6 ft. leashes

9AM Run/walk starts

10:30 Start drawing of DOOR PRIZES

Lunch at Louie’s Braut House or other fine restaurants in town

Scoutland is open to scouting groups, civic groups and school groups but is only open to the public during this event.
